Who am I?

Hi, I’m Kate (she/her).

I’m based in Nottingham, UK, but I work with clients all over the world – and I edit in UK, US, and Canadian English.

I’ve built my career as a freelance editor and proofreader working with both indie clients and traditional publishers, including working on fiction for Pan Macmillan, Gollancz, Tor, Rebellion, Solaris, and Erewhon; comics and graphic novels for Pan Macmillan, Nobrow Press, Flying Eye Books, and Bonnier Books; and games for Osprey Games, Kingdom Death, and ZigZaGame Inc. I’ve also written and contributed to articles on all things writing and editing.

I offer a range of editing services from developmental feedback to a final proofread of your manuscript or board game components – so no matter what you’re looking for, I can help!

I’m a huge fan of fantasy / horror / graphic novels / games / all things geek. When I’m not editing, you’ll generally find me reading, writing, mudlarking, playing Red Dead Redemption, or scheming on behalf of my D&D characters.
